On 23 May a Multimedia Children’s Creativity Festival was held at the Presidential Library to mark that institution’s 10th anniversary.
Among the festival’s guests were the St. Petersburg children’s multimedia studios which were the pioneers of the library’s animation and film showings. As animation industry leaders, Riki Group representatives were invited as well. Alexander Artyomov, producer of the BabyRiki animated series, and Konstantin Ushakov, editor in chief of the Smart Masha publishing house, congratulated the library for reaching this milestone. They made a gift of print materials to the library’s collection, gave the children’s studios BabyRiki toys as a talisman of future creative success, discussed the making of the project, and screened several episodes.
‘It’s wonderful that thanks to modern technology, children can try their hand at various creative endeavours from a very early age, and that venues like the Presidential Library are actively encouraging it,’ noted producer Alexander Artyomov.
