First teaser for ‘My Friend Finnick’ feature-length animated film presented at Cannes film market

The Riki Group traditionally participates in the Cannes film market, Marché du Film, which began this year on 14 May. Russian film companies present their projects as part of the combined Made in Russia stand, organized by the Russian Export Centre.

At that business venue, Riki Group presented the first teaser for its animated family comedy ‘My Friend Finnick’, as well as material for ‘My Toy Panda’.

‘We brought the first teaser for our new film “My Friend Finnick” to the film market. A joint Russian and American team is working on the script: Neil Landau, a very experienced Hollywood screenwriter, and Denis Chernov and Tatyana Belova, who created the idea of the world of house brownies,’ says Diana Yurinova, Riki Group’s deputy general producer for international development. ‘Our long-term partners and potential distributors have already fallen in love with Finnick. We are also continuing to negotiate over distribution of the film “My Toy Panda”, which is nearing the end of production.’
