The Riki Group has announced the results of its distribution campaign for the feature-length animated adventure comedy ‘Kikoriki. Déjà Vu’, released in 2018. Publicly available data from Kinopoisk lists ‘Kikoriki Déjà Vu’ in second place in box office receipts among all Russian animated films released that year. The film earned RUB 271 million in distribution. Edging out Kikoriki was the film ‘Three Heroes and the Princess of Egypt’.
In 2018, distribution rights were obtained in 45 different countries, including China, South Korea, Vietnam, and the United Kingdom, as well as countries in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Central America, the CIS, and the Baltic states.
