Riki Group, a leading Russian animation company based in St. Petersburg, and the Tremblay Brothers, famous independent creators, and producers of transmedia content announced the premiere of a new teaser for their upcoming animated TV series “The Kameleons”. The teaser will be screened at MIP Junior in Cannes on October 13, 12:00 at Grand Theatre during Russian “Snack and Screen” presentation.
Set in a typical suburban neighborhood, The Kameleons is a character-driven comedy about a wacky chameleon musical band who pursue their dreams of stardom in the big world of humans. Infused with music, mania, and a healthy dose of mischief, this series follows the daily struggles of four wildly different siblings as they discover that anything is possible when they work together and embrace their true colors. The series will not only hit a unique vibe for the global targeted audience of kids 6-11, but the entire family as well with its smartly crafted stories, witty dialogues, and international pop culture references.
For the first season, 52 episodes of 11minutes each will be produced.
The show was developed with a team of renowned animation writers led by Derek Iversen, former Nickelodeon staff writer credited with 60 episodes of SpongeBob.
