New York, September 12th, 2019 – RIKI GROUP, Russia, was selected for the first time by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences to host the semi-final round of judging in two categories for the 47th edition of the world’s highest TV awards: the 2019 International Emmy® Awards. The event took place in New York on September 12th at Dolby Laboratories.
The most relevant and distinguished personalities of the US kids entertainment industry, including producers and content professionals, evaluated behind closed doors in the city of New York the work of those who compete in the Kids: Animation and Kids: Preschool categories. The jury consisted of the following experts: Michele Hennesy, Amazon Studios, Adina Pitt, Cartoon Network and Boomerang, Shannon F. Higdon, Nickelodeon International, Estee Barandashvili, Sesame Workshop, LaToye Adams, WonderWhy Consulting, Rick Clodfelter, Garden Place Media, Diana Yurinova, Riki Group and FUN Union.

This year, the semi-finals of all categories will be held until mid-September. The selected contents are nominated and go to the final stage of selection. The nominees will be officially announced in October. The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences will announce the winners for its November categories during the 47th International Emmy® Awards Gala that will take place on November 25, 2019 in New York City, USA, with the participation of over a thousand personalities of the world’s television industry. International Emmy Kids Awards winners will be announced at a ceremony at Miptv, in Cannes, France on Tuesday, March 31, 2019.
